Our Approach

Hill Drift Consulting helps homeowners, buyers, and property investors make smarter, more informed decisions—before, during, and after a renovation or build.

We offer practical, design-informed consulting rooted in construction experience and an understanding of how homes are actually lived in. Whether you're buying a fixer-upper, managing a full renovation, or trying to make sense of a quirky old space, we bring structure and insight to the process.

Founded by a woman with deep experience in real estate, renovation, and spatial planning, Hill Drift is not a design firm or a brokerage—we’re your second set of eyes and a grounded advocate throughout the lifecycle of your project.

Who we are here for:

  • Homebuyers considering renovation-heavy or character properties

  • Homeowners overwhelmed by the renovation process

  • Property investors or landlords planning upgrades

  • Designers and architects seeking practical collaboration

  • Out-of-town buyers or remote clients needing honest assessments

About Me

I'm Katherine, a project manager and consultant with over two decades of hands-on experience in construction oversight, estate management, and high-end residential operations. I currently serve as Project Manager, where I work closely with developers, architects, and owners to move complex projects forward—always with an eye toward both the big picture and the finishing details.

Before that, I managed multi-building estates and oversaw large-scale renovations in New York City, the Hamptons, and beyond. Whether I’m coordinating trades, sourcing materials, or advising on design layouts, my work bridges the practical with the refined. My clients value discretion, responsiveness, and creative problem-solving grounded in real-world experience.

Hill Drift Consulting grew out of that foundation. I help buyers and owners make informed, confident decisions—especially when a property needs vision, repair, or a smart renovation plan. My approach is detail-driven and design-informed, with a focus on long-term value and livability.
